Cheong SC has 40 years of experience in technology translation, product creation process, product costing, financial control and the running of manufacturing plant, design house and technology start-ups. Since 2014, he has served as a mentor and instructor for NUS-Lean Launch Pad and Jump-Start program, helping teams and collaborating with SUTD, A*Star, NUS, NTU, SIT, Temasek Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic to nurture technopreneurs in MedTech, robotics and urban farming. Cheong SC is the co-founder of Mdesign Solutions in 2004, a technology translation company that support customer with IP to develop into a full product, fulfilling design for manufacturing, regulatory requirement. In 2026, after 22 years, Mdesign Solutions has developed into a ISO13485 certified entity that covered design and manufacturing of medical devices, with presence in Singapore, Switzerland, London and China. In 2026, Mdesign has started small batch production operation for medical device as well. With the rapid introduction of new technology in automation sector, collaboration is key to the future survival of the SME in Singapore. I hope to support the council to work on longer term strategy to improve the collaboration mindset amongst members and attracting more potential new like minded members. Provide strong leadership and be effective to engage the regional network so that our members could leverage on and benefit their business.

I am Wilson Tan, CEO of Linkwise Group. As a homegrown company, we specialize in critical facility monitoring solutions, safeguarding seamless operations for data centers and automated infrastructures across the region. I serve on the AutomationSG Council because navigating the AI era demands powerful synergy. I’m Chorch Ang, CEO of SESTO Robotics, where we develop autonomous mobile robotics solutions that rethink material movement and operational efficiency across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and other industries. I am Tan Piak Phuang, Centre Director and Principal Specialist at the Robotics and Automation Innovation Centre, School of Engineering, Nanyang Polytechnic. The Centre collaborates with end-user companies, system integrators, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to drive innovation, develop platform-based solutions, and conduct test-bedding initiatives across the industrial robotics and automation sector. Through strategic partnerships, we support advanced technology adoption, foster innovation, and strengthen industry capabilities. I am privileged to serve on the AutomationSG Council, where I contribute industry insights and perspectives while engaging with fellow stakeholders across the ecosystem to exchange ideas, foster collaboration, and support the advancement of the robotics and automation sector. I'm Ivan Khoo, CEO of SIIX-AGT and founder of Botmind. For more than 20 years, I’ve been working at the intersection of technology, business, and innovation, helping bring automation, robotics, AI, and IoT solutions from concept to real-world deployment. At Botmind, we develop robotics software and autonomous systems that enable robots, sensors, and people to work together more effectively across sectors such as public safety, facilities management, healthcare, and smart infrastructure. I am Patrick Ng, Innovation Director at Spark Launchpad. I help clients identify innovation opportunities and build better products through workshops and coaching focused on innovation strategy, venture building, and IP strategy. At AutomationSG, I collaborate with partners to launch career conversion courses, innovation workshops, and TIA framework assessments. With decades of experience starting at Fairchild Semiconductor and co-founding IC Equipment, she specializes in semiconductor backend automation and equipment design. She previously served as Senior Consultant at SIMTech's Precision Engineering Centre of Innovation.
